“A bit of an animal” is a phrase that is often used admiringly for a ferocious person. In the UK, it’s been used to advertise a spicy ‘pork’ snack called Peperami. It’s meant to show just how spicy it is. The adverts are a little… strange; you can find a compilation of them here.
But I’m not here to sell processed food stuffs.
Likening Dip players and hobbyists to animals isn’t new. Sometimes it’s done disparagingly, sometimes in admiration. Here, my aim is to take a lighthearted look at the people you might come across in the Hobby.
